«BioEq» organizes payment to subjects – healthy subjects and patients - who volunteer for phase 1 trials. The amount is usually related to the duration of residence on the unit, the number and length of visits, lifestyle restrictions, and the type and extent of the inconvenience and discomfort involved.
The policy on paying trial subjects, and the amount, is stated in the subject information leaflet and is approved by the LEC.
